Design lessons from New York's Stissing House

The interiors will leave you in awe — but you'll also feel right at home.

Stissing House, a restaurant located in Pine Plains, NY, had been on my radar for some time but it wasn’t until this past weekend (while celebrating my mom’s birthday) that I experienced the gloriousness in person. The food was incredible and while I won’t be focusing on that here — know that my omission of the meal is not because it was subpar. In fact, my dad exclaimed that their chicken was the best he’s ever tried. So yes, go, eat, get the chicken — but also admire the interior design.
