A California Chalet from Studio Shamshiri
Studio Shamshiri, an LA-based architecture and interior design studio, was entrusted with the renovation and restoration of Anne Hathaway’s 3,500-square-foot Southern Californian estate. The two-story home, originally designed by renowned architect Myron Hunt in 1906, stands as one of only fifteen Swiss chalet-inspired residences ever built in California during that era. Soft hues of pink, green, and burgundy accentuate the home's classic charm, while a curated collection of eclectic furniture and textiles—infused with influences of fashion and fantasy—bring a whimsical yet refined character to the space.

Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe’s Martha’s Vineyard Home
If you haven’t picked up a copy of Ashe Leandro's debut book, you might be surprised to learn that Ariel Ashe is Seth Meyers’ sister-in-law. The book, a milestone for the firm, showcases some of the duo’s most recent projects, including a special one: Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe’s Martha’s Vineyard home. Completed in 2022, this pandemic-era retreat was a labor of love where Ariel and her design partner, Reinaldo Leandro, had near total creative freedom. The result is a home that feels effortlessly stylish, filled with meticulously chosen furniture yet never heavy-handed. Designed for a young family, the space radiates a relaxed, inviting atmosphere perfect for gathering during holidays. Small, thoughtful details are tucked into nearly every corner, but it’s when the house is filled with the laughter and energy of family that it truly comes alive—a sentiment echoed by both the designers and the Meyers-Ashe family.

An Artfully Curated Apartment by Augusta Hoffman
In their first meeting, Augusta Hoffman’s client presented an Oscar de la Renta dress as the starting point for her apartment's design—a flirty, short strapless dress in mellow ocher with a jewel-toned ikat pattern. While the 1,300-square-foot apartment had been renovated by its former owners, the space’s grand, urbane style didn’t quite reflect the new owner, a 30-something businesswoman seeking a more personal, layered feel. The goal? Design an apartment that balanced refinement, serenity, and comfort. Hoffman brought in a mix of new and vintage pieces, rich textures, and curated accessories—creating a home that reflected both her client’s current life and the one she was growing into.
